Thank you for all you do, say, & write. Practicing catholics need a support group too. Our church needs more bishops to stand up for Jesus’ commandments: as their task to work at saving souls is a grave responsibility. I need some clarification re: St. Paul’s command in Galatians 1:6-9. You are the only church leader, of the many I’ve followed, who brought up Galatians:1:8-9.
‘Anathema’ I believe -means excommunication. Are not the excommunicated called to repent so that he/she may return to communion?
The movie, ‘Becket’ depicted Thomas Becket declaring upon King Henry II “Anathema”, followed by the king’s repentance. Is that an historical fact?
St. Paul asserted, not once, but twice, that if one preaches a gospel not preached by the apostles, let him be anathema. Are St. Paul’s commands in Acts to be taken as from Jesus Christ?
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on
your bishops.
May God bless & keep you. May Mary keep you under her mantle.

Sublime. Pitch perfect. Thank you, Bishop Strickland, for being a true and heroic shepherd.
