What are your objections to this good, holy, orthodox man of God who is not afraid to speak the truth and defend the Church and the Word of God? He is courageous and we are blessed with him as a voice crying out in the wilderness. If only there were others who loved God and respected the faith as much as Bishop Strickland. Thanks be to God.

And likewise I call upon the University of Dallas, whose staffers truly strive to provide a Catholic education to thousands of young minds every year, to change the name of the Farrell building. Do it now, Dr. Sanford. Please. This has scandalized knowledgeable parents and Catholics long enough.

Great post. I’ve just baptized my children and will formally enter the Catholic Church myself in June. The pedophile scandal kept me away for years. This post was excellent.

My concern is not only with Cardinal Farrell but all within Francis’ inner circle, especially within the Vatican and the College of Cardinals and particularly those who will be voting, who have participated in abuse or the coverup of abuse. I understand it is extensive. The victims, Christ, and Holy Mother Church deserve so much better. Come, Holy Spirit, Come. St Michael, the Archangel, defend them in battle.

Btw, Bishop Strickland, your prayers for the Conclave are beautiful. Thank you.

If this is simply guilt by association, then it is to be gravely condemned.

We who are not resident in the USA and are completely unfamiliar with this issue need to be given convincing evidence that this is an appropriate public attack on his integrity.

He roomed with McCarrick for 4 years and said he had no idea about all the stuff McCarrick was doing, which is simply not credible.

Child molesters and other sexual predators are notorious for their ability to hide and disguise their perverted behaviour.

Almost all detected and prosecuted molesters of children are already guilty of more than 100 offences which are disclosed in retrospect.

People such as myself with long experience in treatment of victims know far better than you what is credible or otherwise.

Please reread B. Strickland's request. It is not guilt by association but instead he's saying given the circumstances, and silence, it is fitting that Ferrel should voluntarily resign.

I have been perfectly capable of reading with comprehension for more than seventy years. It IS guilt by association unless there is other well-based evidence presented.

He doxxed priests all over the USA, closed down the Latin Mass even as it had overwhelming numbers of attendance, approved Covid gene therapy concocted on aborted babies even as it proved to be ineffective, pushed open borders as criminal gangs have harmed so many including murder and rape and children were sex trafficked and kept priests who openly support homosexuality who also doxx heterosexual ones. Then there is the pachamamma idol, Aztec rituals added to the Mass. He was a Peronist. And then a perpetrator of Liberation Theology which St JPII condemned as communism in disguise. Just saying…

what has a list of notional errors in the behaviour of the last Pope to do with the remaining Cardinals who have the duty and responsibility of electing his successor?

Or, are you accusing Bishop Strickland of these errors, or the present camerlengo?

No. Got lost in the thread. Having a really hard time dealing with Francisgate. Strickland was one of his targets.

Quote: 'In these critical days, as the eyes of the faithful turn toward Rome with concern and hope, it becomes the solemn duty of every shepherd of souls to speak with clarity, guided not by fear or favour, but by the light of the Gospel and fidelity to the Bride of Christ.'

Mt 18:15-20 - the gospel instruction about fraternal correction, is clear.

Have you gone privately and alone to confront your brother in Christ?

Has he refused or ignored you admonition and so needing you to take one or two others with you to declare corroborative witness?

If you have not done this, you would seem to be boldly prepared to be disobedient to the Word of God by resorting to public condemnation.
