Thank you Bishop. I am not catholic but your words lead me to trust in the cross of Christ. While I struggle with different things I know it is only with Jesus that I will have victory so I appreciate reading about His works in the Holy Week

To love Jesus even more, Stephanie, join the Church He Himself established, and note that He did not establish a general-type Church known as Christianity. And whatever you may think you know about the Catholic Church already, good and bad, be sure to sincerely explore what the Church has actually done throughout history, and what itself actually teaches as opposed to the many myths about the Church that continue to be unjustly spread by many people in many forums.

May the Good Lord bless you with ever greater wisdom and joy in your ongoing journey to grow ever closer to Him with each passing day.

Yes we are at an intersection. May we follow Jesus on the road to resurrection and renewal not looking back to the "comforts" of the past with longing for the old days. May we trust the Spirit who brings new life as we follow the Risen Lord along a new path.

I would encourage all faithful Catholics to please consider watching the relatively short YouTube video I referenced in my comment yesterday. In order to defend Holy Mother Church we need to be aware of the Satanic attacks against the true Catholic faith that comes from those within our own church.

Judge for yourself if there is an inversion of the Baptismal Promises. Baptism is key to Salvation. Please arm yourself with an awareness of what is taking place within our Catholic Churches, this attack on the Sacraments is extremely serious.

It’s easy to find the video by the title as I quoted it.

If we don’t recognize and call out these diabolical attacks happening within the walls of our Catholic Churches now, how do we expect to resist the Antichrist?

I have set my face like flint against the “new religion” of the new synodal church. God help us!

Again we give our gratitude to Bishop Strickland for faithfully leading his flock.

I look forward to the renewal of Baptismal Promises and was shocked when I viewed a YouTube video posted on January 14, 2025 entitled “Priest uses new Baptismal Promises. NO!” I revisited this video today and still find it almost beyond belief.

Today the Vatican website posted a story about an ecumenical Palm Sunday celebration. Some Catholics may feel their Catholic faith is being watered down to Christian faith. As a Catholic I firmly believe the Church, as it was founded by Jesus Christ, has seven sacraments and I can’t help but believe that an attack, on what for many, is the gateway sacrament, is diabolical in its origin.

Jesus asks if He will find Faith when He returns. What is happening in the “dry wood” is beyond anything I could have imagined years ago.

After watching this YouTube presentation I pulled out my copy of the First Volume of the Roman Ritual (1948) and located Baptism of Adults which includes exorcist elements and the Baptismal Promises. Personally, I find this referencing of the Roman Ritual to be very powerful and clear, avoiding confusion and ambiguity. Truth and clarity are weapons against the cunning serpent who tempted in the garden and continues his insidious tempting today. I pray daily for the grace and mercy of final perseverance and will probably be turning frequently to the images of the beautiful white garment and burning light received in Baptism, with a renewed commitment to be “white robed” and bearing the “burning light” when the day or hour, which no one knows, only the Father in Heaven, finally arrives. Let us all pray fervently to be found before His Throne, with the palm of ultimate Triumph.

With prayers for a blessed Holy Week.

Virgo Potens Ora Pro Nobis!
